CENTRALISED EMPLOYMENT NOTICE(CEN) No. 03/2018

Recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA)

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) invite ONLINE applications form eligible candidates for the post of JE, JE (Information Technology), DMS and CMA in various Zonal Railways and production Units of Indian Railways.

Start Date to Apply Online: 2nd January 2019 (From 10:00 AM)
Last Date for registration of Online Application: 31st January 2019 (23: 59 hrs.)

Notice on choice of Exam Group for JE, JE (IT), DMS and CMA. While choosing the exam group during Online Application process, the last paragraph of Para 13.2 of the Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) 03/2018 has been further amplified, for the benefit of the candidates, as under: “A candidate possessing more than one minimum educational qualification, mapped to different Exam Groups, can choose any one Exam Group, provided he/she opts for the post(s) whose educational qualification is mapped to the chosen exam group. However, these candidates would be eligible for all the opted posts”.

Educational Qualification :

Junior Engineer: Diploma/Degree in Engineering in relevant discipline.

Junior Engineer (Information Technology): PGDCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ BCA / B.Tech. (Information Technology)/ B.Tech. (Computer Science)/ DOEACC ‘B’ Level Course of 3 years duration or equivalent from recognised university/ institute.

Depot Material Superintendent: Diploma/Degree in Engineering from any discipline.

Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant: Bachelors Degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry with minimum 45% marks

Pay Scale:

Level 6th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs.35,400/- plus other allowances as admissible.

Age Limit :

Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 33 years

Age Limit as on 01st January 2019

Examination Fee :

UR & OBC: Rs. 500/-
Out of this fee of Rs.500/-, an amount of Rs.400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in First Stage CBT.
SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically backward class : Rs. 250/-
This fee of Rs.250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in First Stage CBT.
